My name is Dr. Anh Weber and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Palo Alto, California. I appreciate you taking a moment to visit my website.

My particular expertise and interest is in working with survivors of trauma, abuse and victimization. Having survived trauma, abuse and victimization can lead to a variety of outcomes. Some people survive trauma with no problems at all, while other people develop anxiety, depression, substance use, personality or relationship issues. While not too long ago trauma was considered to be fairly uncommon in middle class populations, the ACEs study by Felitti has shown this assumption to be incorrect. Rather, various traumatic events, such as parental divorce or substance abuse, are very common even in middle class populations and have often both physical and psychological effects many years after the experienced trauma.

I like to work with clients from different backgrounds and presentations. One of my particular interests is working with high-functioning clients who have borderline personality disorder. In my practice, I employ different therapeutic evidence based modalities; from psychoanalytic to dialectical behavioral therapy, depending on the specific circumstances.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 12 years, and I offer psychotherapy for adolescents, couples, and adults; both on a short and long-term basis.
